When we opened the doors to HDY Haus Studio, we knew one thing for certain.
We did not just want to create another place to work. We wanted to create a place where people could meet, share ideas, learn from one another, and build genuine connections.
Our first community potluck is a small step towards that vision.
On Saturday, 8 August, 2026, we are inviting neighbours, students, creators, remote workers, families, and anyone curious about HDY Haus to spend an evening together over good food and meaningful conversation.
If you would like, bring a dish, snack, dessert, or drink to share. If you cannot bring anything, please come anyway. Your presence is enough.
There is no agenda, no presentations, and no networking pressure. Just an opportunity to meet people from different cultures, share stories, and enjoy a relaxed evening together.
Whether you have visited the studio before or this will be your first time, you are welcome.
We hope this will become one of many community traditions at HDY Haus.
I will be making Nigerian Jollof Rice, and I hope you will bring along a favourite dish, snack, or drink of your own to share if you can.
