Coming Back Shortly
A simple maintenance mode plugin for WordPress. It puts a clean holding page in front of your site while you work on it, and steps out of the way as soon as you are finished. No fluff, and no complicated setup.
Status: in development. Coming Back Shortly is being built at HDY Haus and is not yet available to download. This page will be updated with a download link and installation notes once the first release is ready.
What it will do
- Show visitors a single holding page while the rest of the site stays out of view.
- Let logged in administrators carry on browsing and editing the site as normal.
- Keep the holding page on brand, with your own heading, message and logo.
- Return the correct HTTP status so search engines understand the site is only temporarily unavailable.
Where it has got to
Development is under way. There is no public release yet and no repository has been opened for it, so there is nothing to install today.
