Tell us about the website you need.
This is how every HDY Haus project starts. Your answers give us what we need to scope the work honestly and come back with a real number — not a guess we have to walk back three weeks later.
- Three short sections
- Around 10 minutes
- Save and finish later
Communication is the cornerstone of the work.
As designers and developers, our job is to deliver something that works, meets your expectations and respects your budget. We cannot do any of that from a one-line brief.
Ten minutes here saves weeks of back and forth later — and it is the difference between a quote you can rely on and a number that quietly grows.
-
1
We read it properly
Every answer gets looked at by the person who would actually build the site, not filtered through a sales form.
-
2
You get a written quote
Scope, timeline and cost in writing, with anything we would need to confirm before starting called out plainly.
-
3
We talk it through
A short call to walk through the quote, adjust the scope if the budget needs it, and agree what happens first.
Three sections, nothing you need to research first.
If you do not know an answer yet, say so. “Not sure” is genuinely useful information — it tells us where you need advice rather than options.
You and the budget
Your business, how to reach you, when you would like to start and finish, and the ranges you have in mind for the build, for domain, hosting and email each year, and for ongoing monthly support.
The site itself
What the site needs to achieve, what visitors should be able to do, the pages you imagine, any special features you have in mind, and the look and feel you are going for.
What you already have
Two sites you like and two you do not, whether you are taking payments, whether your content and logo are ready, and where your domain and hosting currently stand.
Handy to have open in another tab.
None of this is required to submit — but having it to hand makes the whole thing quicker.
- Your logo as a PNG. The upload accepts files up to 1MB. If yours is larger or you do not have one yet, skip it and tell us.
- Two sites you like, two you do not. Links are more useful than adjectives, and the ones you dislike tell us more than the ones you like.
- Your domain and hosting status. Whether they are bought, who they are with, or whether you would like us to handle it.
- A rough budget range. For the build itself, for the yearly domain, hosting and email, and for monthly support.
- A link to your content. If the copy and images are already written or gathered, point us at them.
- Your rough timing. When you would like to start, and any date the site genuinely has to be live by.
Answering this does not lock you into anything.
It is a starting point, not a contract. Budgets shift, scope changes, and half the projects we quote look different by the time they are approved. Tell us where you actually are and we will work from that.
Let’s get started.
Work through the three sections below. Required fields are marked, and everything else is optional.
Need to stop partway? Use Save and Continue Later at the bottom of the form.
