Resources

Things you can use before you hire anybody

Tools we build, questions worth answering, and writing that explains how we think. Most of it is free, and none of it requires a call first.

  • Nothing behind a sign up wall
  • Use it with or without us

Tools we build

Small pieces of WordPress software, made because the same problem kept turning up in client work and no existing plugin solved it plainly enough.

Templates and questionnaires

The questions we ask on real projects, written down so you can use them yourself.

Reading

Short pieces about why help centres go unread, why members go quiet, and why most spaces called communities are really channels.

The writing is where the thinking behind the services is set out in full. If you want to know how we would approach your problem before speaking to anybody, start there.

Nothing is gated, and there is no newsletter to join first.

If a resource is not enough

Some problems are small enough to fix with a template and an afternoon. Others need somebody to look at what is actually happening and say so plainly.

If you are not sure which one you have, that is a reasonable thing to bring to a call.

Thirty minutes, at no charge, with no obligation afterwards.
